Narcolepsy with Cataplexy and MS
Yes, I got a triple threat, well, a quadruple threat for falling if you count the Meniere's Disease on top of it all.
I am a high fall risk. I had two cataplexy events in the past two months and bruised my ribs on both sides, three times. Hit my head on the printer. I have skin torn my right knee, bruised my palm, my inner elbow, my tailbone, reinjured an area on my back where I had a subarachnoid cyst on my spinal cord. It tore some of the scar tissue and fascia.
What happens with cataplexy is for no reason at all you simply collapse to the ground and have no recollection of how it happened. These events are scary to people around you. They even frighten me.
