Cataplexy & Intimacy

I really don’t want to be posting this, since my or anyone else’s sex life isn’t something I ever want to discuss in a public forum, but I have questions and didn’t know where else to get answers, so here go. Has anyone experienced difficulty climaxing during sex due to cataplexy attacks? I think it’s fairly obvious to anyone who has cataplexy what the issue here is: intense emotion/pleasure triggers full body cataplexy, which prevents orgasm.
Is this common? What’s the outlook? And does anyone have resources that would be helpful to explore?
Thank you for the time and support!
