To Do Lists, Remembering, Note Taking OH My!! Any suggestions on methods, apps, or planners?!

I struggle so hard with this and need a paper and electronic method. I take wayyyy too many screenshots, bookmark too much, take notes various ways on my phone, and beyond but fail to do right by getting back to it all...in any ONE PLACE. It's seemingly unmanageable.

I fail hard at writing it down from my phone but that's how I usually come across things. That "TO DO LIST" as well....so overwhelming and I don't know how to make it right...or do it well 😳. A visual method would likely be best!??

    1. As I read these i am laughing,,,,,,,,,,,,,, MY PEOPLE!!!!!!!! just hearing others stories and struggles is sooooooo healing!!!

      1. I have to write EVERYTHING down. I have narcolepsy as well as sleep apnea both of which have brain fog. I literally forget everything right down to what I did 10 minutes ago. It's so frustrating. Sometimes I wonder if I'm getting early onset dementia which scares the hell out of me.

        1. no, I never thought of that because I don't want to hear the answer.

        2. I can understand that, . Gentle hugs. - Lori (Team Member)

      2. I feel like I can't remember anything these days with narcolepsy feeling likes it's fully formed up(haha) within the last 6 years!! I actually sought treatment and gained a diagnosis for adhd before my narc diagnosis bc of the seemingly new memory issues (somehow me falling asleep in like every work meeting ever or falling asleep in the bathroom didn't occur to me as super unusual for some reason lol). To be fair I do think I have adhd but holy cow did it get bad with narcolepsy!
Anyway, I use Google calendar on my phone for on the go appts and when I get home, i put all of those in a physical planner and then try to make some daily action plans there or maybe journal some even... the actual writing seems to help me *a lot* to remember things. I use a Hobonichi Cousin usually which has monthlies, weeklies, and 1pg per day dailies. There's tons of alternatives to this Japanese planner out there too like SterlingInk planners which come in a million different sizes! The paper in all of these is very cool too 😀.

        1. Hi . It's not unusual to have both ADHD and narcolepsy. I love your strategies for staying focused. Do you take medications that help with both, like Adderall? Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
