Tips for Managing Brain Fog

Do you experience brain fog? If so, how do you deal with it? What tips do you have for others that also experience brain fog?

  1. Reading as much info as I can so that I understand the situation. Very difficult because my son has Narcolepsy and I have Epilepsy with Insomnia.

    1. No he is 56yrs young but is learning disabled with autism. We both have issues with stress, plus the anxiety from the age difference, makes our issues double at times. My memory is almost completely gone now and has total recall on his side. With your help, I understand why he sleeps twelve hours on the weekends. He wakes himself only to go to the bathroom. How can he do that when in deep sleep? How do other members handle this situation?
      Thanks

    2. Hi . What a challenging situation. It's great that he wakes up to use the bathroom though. I have a relative with narcolepsy who couldn't wake up to use the bathroom until he was in his 20s. He has to regulate his liquid intake in the hours before bed as well.

Do you have longer-term care plans in place for both of you? Are there other family members who can help given your memory issues? Gentle hugs. - Lori (Team Member)

  4. I screenshot everything as well, only to never remember to go thru the pics. I haven't found an app yet that works for me. Just an old steno pad and pen 🙁
