Narcolepsy/ Doctors/ St. Louis

I am looking for sleep doc suggestions from Narcoleptics that experience chronic Cataplexy in the St. Louis area.

  1. Yes, I have. They haven't been great. The one I go to now I have gone to on and off for 27 years, he will be retiring soon. When my cataplexy started getting worse and he didn't seem to have a good grasp or understanding about that aspect of N. I tried two other doctors, who had an even worse grasp or understanding of the symptom cataplexy which sent me back to the one I have been going to for so long. However, that was 20 years ago when I tried the other two so I was hoping 20 years has made a significant difference in the world of N and how much doctors really know about it.

    1. I hope so as well. There does seem to be more awareness of narcolepsy overall. So, many that is true of the neurology community, too. - Lori (Team Member)

  2. Hi Regina. I hope you get some responses from the community. Have you already had experiences with some doctors in the area? Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
