Portrayal of Narcolepsy in the Media

Yes! Just the other day I was shocked to see an episode of the TV Series "Modern Family" of an episode called "Sleeper" and the young daughter Alex was talking about having "a rare and fun condition called narcolepsy". I was shocked! She then goes on further to describe it as "an escape for the brain." I still can't believe this was allowed on such a large TV network. 🙁
